I once saw these guys swing so violently during a storm... I thought they were going to come down crashing. Thankfully, they hung on. Do you know what building they're attached to?
Oh crap, my joke was pretty lame -- you wanted to know what BUILDING they are attached to...
My only guess would be that long beautiful corridor paralleling the sidewalk, I think it's on Mission at about Second -- isn't it the Federal Reserve, or something like that? Oh heck, I don't know...
It could Saint Peter in Roma.... under the Bernini' colonnade. it could be the Louvres... in fact it could such a lot of places.... anyway I Iike so much your blog, Tomate. It makes me feel young even if I am such an old bag now. thank's a lot, dear

What they're attached to? -- well I'd say they're attached to the ceiling, but I know that's not the answer you're going for...

Neat photo...
Oh, rats, somebody actually commented! I guess I better go and photograph the building it's attached to, then! ;)
Nope, but pretty close! Answer will follow shortly.
